I have also tried resetting the CMOS and only using one RAM stick but it always does the same thingĪnd I now also have a brand new hard drive that has never been used before that I have all the same problems with. When trying to boot into the Windows install, Bios gives me 2 options for the USB UEFI or just the name of the USB device. I have tried letting it sit there for multiple hours and nothing happens.
SKYPE KEEPS FREEZING UP WINDOWS 10 WINDOWS 10
I tried using the Microsoft media creation tool to use a USB to reinstall Windows 10 and try to boot fresh but all that happens is the Windows logo comes upĪnd dots start spinning but then the dots freeze and it does not move from there. Keeps freezing at the motherboard logo or saying please select a proper boot device and try again. I am able to open BIOS but after doing everything I could in BIOS to try and fix the problem it just I had to force shut down by holding the power button and tried rebooting and it continually froze at that same spot every time. Originally I had this PC prebuilt from ibuypower and it worked fine for over a year and a half but one day while the PC was booting up it shut itself off for a second and then started booting again and ended up freezing on the GIGABYTE motherboard logo screenĪnd would not move from that. Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 2x4GB DDR3 1600mhz RAM I am having problems installing Windows 10 on a new hard drive.
